Growing up in the Piney Wood of East Texas, Chris has always loved to fish.  Raised by his grandparents with a pond in the back yard, Chris went fishing every day and began fishing in youth tournaments where he always finished at the top of the leaderboards.  In middle school he was asked by a teacher what he wanted to be when he grows up. His answer is the same today as it was in middle school. A Professional Fisherman!  

Chis has always had an undying will to fish competitively. He remains dedicated to his passion as he competes on the tournament trail and teaching others through guided trips. Chris just completed his sophmore year on the FLW Majors Tour finishing 25th in Angler of the Year Points and qualifying for his first Forrest Wood Cup Championship.  He has amasked four Top 20's in his first fourteen FLW Events. Chris is also competing on the PAA tour where he hopes to qualify for the Toyota Bass Classic on Lake Fork in 2014. In Chris's young career he has steadily climbed to 61st in the world and is dedicated to make each year better than the last.
